UPDATE: please also see this post for more information. We highly recommend you speak to a specialist before doing this stuffs. Doggeh’s need different foods than persons. If you don’t speak to a specialist you could be depriving your doggeh of essential nutrients.

After my person consulted with Miss Nadine (holistic pet/toxic-free living consultant, pet bereavement facilitator, researcher, speaker, and author of The Healing Art of Pet Parenthood: a true story about the person-animal bond, healing canine cancer naturally) she got a bit stuck.

She wanted to feed me organic, wholesome home-made food but didn’t know where to start. She’s not a cook. All those food and kitchen stuffs don’t come naturally to her.

Tonight we realised that my doggeh kibble will soon be all eaten up. It’s a very nice doggeh food. One of the best kibbles.

But she made the choice to get me on to a home-made diet.

Most peoples don’t want to give away their recipes without you buying their cook book. We Googled lots looking for home-made organic dog food recipes and didn’t find much at all.

The my person got lucky and found a really great post that we wanted to share with you.

Home-made dog food recipes from this non-descript site actually look really good.

We’re going to try the Buffaloaf but might use bison instead. She’ll replace all the ingredients with organic ones.

We live near a organic store called Eat It which actually runs an online business too. So if you’re looking for organic food stuffs you can order it from them even if you don’t live in Winnipeg.

When my person has made the loaf I’ll post photos here and tell you what I thought of it.
