Mr Cesar Millan is coming to Winnipeg, Canada

Doggie man Mr Cesar Millan is doing a tour of Canada. Until recently, he wasn’t coming to Winnipeg. Then a nice lady person who runs Urban Canine told lots of people that we should change his mind.

I did my bit by writing an open letter to Mr Cesar, and lots of people joined Urban Canine’s ‘Bring Cesar to Winnipeg’ Facebook page.

I guess that the hard work by the Urban Canine peoples did the trick.

(For Immediate Release – September 27, 2010)  Toronto, ON

Oprah Winfrey, Scarlett Johansson, Will Smith and Nicolas Cage have all had their dogs trained and balanced by TV sensation Cesar Millan. Cesar Millan has gained a dedicated following as host of his Emmy-nominated series ‘Dog Whisperer’, and now fans and dog lovers across Canada have an opportunity to witness Cesar Millan’s talents first hand as he brings his enlightening and hugely entertaining live show to Canada for the first time.

And just added to the Canadian tour itinerary, ‘Cesar Millan LIVE’ will visit Winnipeg’s MTS Centre on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2010. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 1st at 10:00 a.m. and are available by calling Ticketmaster at 204-780-3333. Tickets are also available at all Ticketmaster outlets.

Presented by National Geographic Channel, ‘Cesar Millan LIVE’ will also visit: Victoria (October 26), Vancouver (Oct. 27  28 and Nov. 9  10), Hamilton (Oct. 30), Toronto (Nov. 1), London (Nov. 2), Ottawa (Nov. 3), Montreal (Nov. 4), Edmonton (Nov. 6), Calgary (Nov. 7) and Saskatoon (Nov. 13). Cesar Millan will have audiences spellbound as he shares his amazing insights on dog psychology, and how people can inadvertently play a role in their dog’s “behavioral issues”.

With ‘Cesar Millan LIVE’, Cesar uses state-of-the-art multimedia accompanied by dogs and their owners to illustrate his unique concepts. During the first half of his live show, Cesar teaches the audience about how the everyday things we do in our homes, can grow into behavioral issues. He also offers invaluable tips and tools to help your dog be calm and balanced while at home. The second part of ‘Cesar Millan LIVE’ focuses on the dog park – Cesar demonstrates the importance of energy and leadership. Over the course of the show, Cesar will have audiences seeing the world through their dog’s eyes and his “fulfillment formula” will change their relationships with their dogs forever.

“What amazing places dogs are taking me to,” Cesar says. “If you had told me when I was growing up in Mexico, that one day I would be travelling the world with my own live show, I don’t think I would have ever believed it. I rehabilitate dogs and train people, so to be given the chance to share my talents to help dog owners become calm and assertive pack leaders with their dogs really helps me fulfill my vision of making the world a better place… one dog at a time.”

  1. Sadie, you’ve said you aren’t perfect every single day. If you had the chance to chat with Cesar, what would you ask him?

    Char Adam

    • Hello Mrs Char – my person says there are two things that she would like help with:

      1) Whenever someone comes to my house I will bark and jump up at them. I’m just excited to see them and want some belly rubs. My person doesn’t think so and says that I’m ‘a pain in the arse.’ I guess I need to know how to calm down when we have visitors.

      2) I am paper trained and usually always go pee and poop in the right place. But I have two favourite spots upstairs on the landing where I like to pee. This makes my person mad cos I’ve stained the carpets. She has no idea why I pee there. What gives me the urge to pee in those places? Am I marking or am I just being a naughty Shih Tzu (which I’m very good at!).
