Wishing you a very merry Christmas from the bottom of my fluffy Shih Tzu heart.
I’m very excited to present to you my annual 12 Days of Cuteness 2012 – a celebration of pet cuteness over the holidays which runs over the 12 days of Christmas beginning today and ending on January 5, 2013.
This year I officially opened up the 12 Days of Cuteness to include dogs, cats and mini-pigs! We had over 100 photo submissions. A new record.
Thank you to all the persons who sent photos. If you want to be included in the 12 Days of Christmas 2013 (one year from now), please sign up for my blog updates to get notified about it.
This is third year I’ve done it. And I think you’ll agree there is some major cuteness here.
It works like this: back in November I asked readers to send me their most cutetastic photos. I organised and edited all the photos into an adorable gallery of cuteness which launches on my blog today (Christmas Day). The first Day of Cuteness also begins today. Then over the next 11 days I’ll feature all the photos from the gallery.
If you sent me a picture: thank you, thank you, thank you.
Some people sent more than one photo. I chose the ones that worked best. So don’t be surprised if you see the same anipal a couple of times. You can never have too much cute.
All the photos are displayed in a gallery below.
Special message for Melissa Haney
Melissa has 11 Shih Tzus. She sent me photos and a wonderful note about them all. She sounds like an incredible lady who has given a loving home to a beautiful pack of doggies.
Some of her photos appear in the gallery. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to include them all and they aren’t featured in any of the Days because I got so confused about who was who so I asked Melissa to send me photos with her dog names as the photo file names. It’s Christmas Eve as I write this and I haven’t heard back from her.
If I do, Melissa will get a special post (a bonus Day of Cuteness) dedicated just to her Shih Tzus.
