It’s day three of my 12 Days of Cuteness – a celebration of pet cuteness over the 12 days of Christmas.
I’ve picked my favourite photo to begin the lineup each day but the rest are in no particular order.
If you want to be sure you see all the posts for the 12 Days of Cuteness, use this link.
And in case you missed my recent post, I’ve decided to make this the last year of the 12 Days of Cuteness.
It’s a lot of work to put together (we start in October) and we’ve found you can enjoy 365 days of cuteness on Instagram so, if that’s where the party’s at, we’re gonna join it there and hope you do the same (if you don’t already).
For now, please enjoy these totally cutetastic photos on day three of my 12 Days of Cuteness 2013.
Tigger (dog of the day)
This handsome Shih Tzu is Tigger. He’s one year and seven months old. His mum says, “He will eat anything and everything except bananas.” [Bananas are one of MY favourite things to eat. Tigger: you’re SO missing out.]
This is six month old Shih Tzu Mia getting ready for Christmas this year.
Mia’s dad says, “Every day always [brings] something new with a puppy but the thing which makes me laugh all the time is when she gets a treat and goes to the toy box to eat it.”
This is Keiko Shih Tzu’s 2013 official Christmas photo shoot says his dad. Keiko is three.
Shih Tzu Om is approximately two and a half. His mum says, “Om was rescued from the streets in Fort Worth when he was about seven or eight months old. He was very small, had food anxiety and was very scared of strangers. He has come a long way from there.
Today he is an extremely social little furball who enjoys meeting new people and is especially fond of tiny, mini-humans. He loves to play with little kids and give them kisses.
Om has also developed a very refined doggy palate and will only eat top quality food and treats. However, he does make exceptions for worms. Digging for worms and slugs in the backyard is a huge hobby.
Om also loves to scavenge for fresh vegetables from the backyard garden. It was becoming such an obsession that we had put up a gate to prevent him from going into the vegetable beds. If he had his way, he would eat all the tender shoots before they ever got a chance to grow anymore.”
Handsome Shih Tzu Ducky turns two in February. His mum says, “Ducky is the best little boy in the whole world. He LOVES his momma. He lays his head on me when I hold him and lets me pick him up like a baby.
He loves his toys and if he doesn’t get a nap he gets fussy and walks around the house looking at shelves and table tops trying to find items he thinks should be his.
I really don’t know what I would do without my baby Duck. He is the love of mine and my husband’s life!”
We weren’t told much about this little cutie. His mum says, “[This is] Yoshie as a puppy. Look at those lips!!”
Super cutie Shih Tzu Cocoa is about three and a half. Her mum says, “She’s been paraplegic since February 2013 due to a back injury. She is such our little snuggle bug. She has the funnest little bark now, I guess from the surgery.”
We’re a bit in love with Cocoa here at Hi, I’m Sadie Shih Tzu. What a courageous little pup. You can read more about Cocoa on her Facebook page where we found this short video clip of Cocoa with her wheels.
