It’s Day 11 of my 12 Days of Cuteness – a celebration of pet cuteness over the holidays.

I’m presenting photos of all the anipals and messages from them or their persons over the 12 days of Christmas. The last day is tomorrow (sad face). Check out the official gallery of cuteness right now.

Petey Creech

“I’m an eight year old Miniature Apricot Poodle, and I can sing with my daddy.”

Pixel Blue Eyes

“I just turned five years old on December 6 and I am a Miniature Schnauzer.

One of the funniest things I do that mommy just LOVES is my ‘How Does a Car Go?’ trick, where I make my voice sound like a revving car engine. Here is a link to a video of me doing it.

I know several tricks and commands and, sometimes, when mommy has something I really like for food, such as peanut butter, I will sit in front of her and do several tricks at once which always makes mommy laugh. And the more she laughs, the more tricks I try to do at once like sneeze, sneer (my famous smile), smack (high paw) and how does a car go all at once.

If I get a chew bone, like a rawhide, I must bury it. Since I am not an outside dog, that means burying it in either laundry or inside blankets on a bed, or under mommy’s pillow. I spend lots of time burying it too. It must be done right.

I am the finder of lost kibble. I can find a lost kibble no matter where it might be and I will point at it with my nose for long periods of time until someone saves it (if I cannot reach it). If they don’t come soon enough, to rescue that kibble, I will give low sounding grrrr’s every 30 seconds until someone comes to save it.”

Puddle & Shecky

We don’t know much about Puddle (dark) and Shecky (grey).

These cat photos came to us from my person’s co-worker.

“Ripley is six or seven (we’re not sure). They guessed at Battersea. Her favourite pastime is hunting her rubber goldfish and waking her us at 4 a.m. by meowing in our faces while we sleep.”

I also happen to know that Ripley won over her persons because of her nose which is kind of heart shaped.

“Here is a picture of our cutie Rocky when he was four months old. He’s now almost six months. He is a Bichon Shih Tzu cross and we love him!  Here he is sitting in a butter bowl that my great grandmother used to make butter in back on the farm.

His favorite place to sleep is behind the toilet. I think he’d prefer to sleep there over sleeping with people. He used to sleep on the air vents until the air conditioner turned to heat.

Also when he is thirsty he barks at the bathtub if there is no water in his bowl. He loves eating toilet paper and Kleenex, he prefers used Kleenex over clean.

He is just a joy to have around and is probably the friendliest dog I’ve ever met. He seems to think that everyone is here simply to see him. He gets quite sad when people don’t stop and pay attention to him when we are out for walks.”
